Hi , I’m Chloë
I am a perfectionist in my work and absolutely love to create a unique and personalized look,whether that be for someone who is extremely fashion forward, looking for elegant timeless beauty or the most natural look to enhance their own beauty. I strive to always follow the client’s vision and make everyone feel comfortable in their own skin by accentuating their own natural beauty and features.
I am trained in Editorial/Film makeup and specialise in Bridal Beauty, with additional training in MAC masterclasses and others. I work with the highest quality brands, which allows me to not only produce makeup that's perfect up close but that photographs flawlessly and has the best staying power through heat, sweat, tears, dancing and even swims! (Ask my brides).
I feel very fortunate to be able to call this my career and have the flexibility to do it around my 2 children while based in the beautiful Algarve.
I started my journey in the Beauty Industry when I was just 17. I then trained as a Beauty Therapist and went on to work on cruise ships and various other beauty salons/spas around the algarve, but I still didn't feel like I found my niche. I have had a passion for makeup since a very young age, but it wasn't until a few years later while working for the Producer of the BAFTAS, that I was asked to do her makeup for the awards party. It was there and then I realised that this was what I wanted to do, and I thought ‘Hey! I'm actually pretty good at this!’.
It still took a few years for me to find the time and to afford to start my course here in Portugal. I then had various masterclasses with MAC and Plouise Academy to specialise in Bridal, Glam, Film, Fashion and Editorial and I've loved every bit of my job since then.
